East Bay Boat Launch
Located on Center Rd about 4 miles out on Old Mission Peninsula.
Archie Roadside Park
A roadside park on M-37, near Gray and Bluff Roads. This is often used as a meeting place for bicyclists before they start out on a tour of Old Mission Peninsula.
Bowers Harbor Park
A township park located on Bowers Harbor Rd. Facilities include: tennis courts, volleyball court, softball field, baseball field, soccer fields, playground activities, picnic pavilions, grills, tables, handicapped toilets, parking area and a walking path.
Bowers Harbor Boat Launch
Located on West Bay, just off Peninsula Dr or 1 mile west of Mapleton.
Haserot Beach & Boat Launch
Located at Old Mission Harbor. Facilities include: playground equipment, boat launch, handicapped toilet, swimming area, parking area, basketbal court and a storage building.
Lighthouse Park
Located on M-37 at the end of Old Mission Peninsula. Facilities include: cross-country ski trails, handicapped beach access, historic lighthouse, historic log home building, handicapped toilet, swimming area and parking lots.
Pyatt Lake Natural Preserve
Located just 20 minutes from Traverse City. The mosaic of habitat types at Pyatt Lake offers refuge to a wide variety of animal and plant species. In fact, the preserve is perhaps the most botanically diverse property in private ownership in Grand Traverse County.
Scenic Overlook
Located on Center Rd about half way out Old Mission Peninsula. This spot offers a view of both East and West Bay.
